Draft for website owner review — updated 30 October 2026
Call Focus is an independently developed and operated product designed to work with Genesys Cloud. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially supported by Genesys. “Genesys” and “Genesys Cloud” are trademarks of their respective owner. This notice describes how the Call Focus customer portal processes information when a customer creates an account, signs in, or submits a Genesys Cloud organization request.
Information we process
- Account details: name, email address, password hash, sign-in provider identity, account creation date and last sign-in time.
- Organization request details: company name, Genesys Cloud organization ID, selected Genesys Cloud region, contact email, request status and submission date.
- License and seat details: license status, seat limit, expiry dates and the Genesys Cloud user identifiers used by the extension for seat allocation and license checks.
- Security information: session identifiers stored as hashes, verification/reset-token hashes and security/audit events needed to protect the service.
Sign-in providers
If you choose Google or Microsoft sign-in, the portal receives basic account identity information such as your provider account identifier, name and email address. The portal does not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive, Outlook mailboxes or calendars.
If you create an account using email and password, the password is stored as a one-way password hash. Verification and password-reset links are sent through the configured email delivery provider.
Genesys Cloud information
The portal stores the organization details you submit. The Chrome extension separately communicates with Genesys Cloud for its call-focus functionality and with the license API for organization and agent seat checks. The portal is not designed to collect call audio, conversation content or caller numbers for licensing.
Purposes and service providers
We use the information to operate customer accounts, review organization requests, administer subscriptions and seat limits, provide account security, and support the service. Hosting, database, and email/OAuth providers may process information as needed to provide these services.
Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as needed to operate the account, administer licenses, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Access controls, HTTPS, password hashing and restricted administrative access are used to protect the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Contact the service operator to request access, correction or deletion of account information, subject to applicable legal and contractual retention requirements.
Operator contact
Before opening the portal to customers, the operator must publish a monitored privacy/support email address and complete this notice with its legal business name, location, applicable data-protection details, retention periods and any required data-processing information.
